Kubota, Gehl & Mustang offer construction products and are worldwide leaders in Excavators, Skid-Steer Loaders and Tractors. 1st Choice Equipment has built a strong reputation in the construction market and is affiliated with Ditch Witch Midwest who has been in business under the same ownership for over 50 years. We have 5 locations in 3 states (IL, IN & WI) serving more than 150 counties. This position will be located in our Waukesha, WI location to maintain our current customer base as well as grow our market share in the Southeastern Wisconsin territory.
Responsibilities will include sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals. Develop and maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, follow-up, and closed sales. Develop & maintain contact with all customers in the market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and market penetration. Maintain company supplied vehicle, electronic devices and other property assigned. Study and stay current on all new & existing products, specifications, bulletins and catalogs & literature of our manufacturers. Monitor the sales, prices and products of competitors. Promote all service contracts and extended warranty programs. Cross sell our complete line of company’s products and services. Attend trade shows, sales meetings and any conferences as required. Some overnight travel will be required. Provide to customer demonstration and training of all equipment.

1st Choice Equipment is looking for an experienced Business Development Representative to join our growing team. We are the Kubota, Gehl & Mustang equipment dealer representing the Midwest region. The Business Development Representative will help grow the business by identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities by generating leads and sales, maintaining customer relationships and coordinating promotional activities for all locations. Essential functions will include: conduct market research to identify and qualify new business opportunities. Provide customers with initial product information and direct them to appropriate sales representative. Track requests for proposals. Establish and maintain effective relationships with prospects/customers via phone, email or social media.
To be qualified, all applicants should have a minimum of two years experience of relevant work in sales, business development, marketing, account management & telemarketing. Strong drive, proactive mindset and solution-oriented attitude. Excellent organizational skills, follow through and attention to details. Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written), networking skills and high standard of professionalism. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams with a high degree of flexibility. Must be proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Microsoft Dynamics 365.
